Bag filters (hoses)
Bag filters are devices used to purify gas streams. The dust enters the hoses (whose material is treated to guarantee permeability) that stop and prevent unsuitable substances from being released, allowing the gas to pass through.
The filtering grid that contains the bags is made of galvanized steel.
The compressed air system that cleans the bags is controlled by electrovalves or a motorvibrator system. It is also possible to set up the frequency of the cleaning, in order to activate the process when switching off the plant and obtain the maximum suction power during its following restart.
Depuration plants with bag filters can also be modular in design and suitable for space and need requirements.
This type of filters are mainly used in cement and steel works or incinerators, where a large quantities of air is moved.
Cartridge filters are employed for the depuration of fine dusts from industrial manufacturing.
The compressed air pass through the cartridges that stop the particles. The particles are then gathered into a tank.

They are considered an efficacious solution for their natural filtering system that stop pollutants from different types of processes. They found application in chemicals and mechanical industries, industrial dry cleaners or fiber, leather and rubber manufacturing.
